Scooter has over 30 years of skimboarding experience. He is the founder of the UNCW Skim Club and has competed internationally including winning the Amateur World Skimboarding Championship at The Vic in Laguna Beach, CA. In addition to his skimboarding background, Scooter has been working with children for nearly 20 years as a storyteller and children’s librarian.
